becoming a butterfly!

I wanted to include some Inspiration and Motivation here in my first Blog and i hope these words fire up something inside you.

You are Worth It!

Like a Peacock Your Beauty is multiplied when you spread your wings and show the world your stuff!!!! Don't be afraid of who you are. Each Peacock feather is flawed and imperfect, but collectively they create something of great beauty. Your flaws are what make you perfect!

My story is a long and fascinating one, though i used to think my life very dull and boring as i lived pretty much a non existence, though what unfolded these past 9 years is currently being drawn up from many murky and mysterious memories, as i try to better understand and write my story (my book will be available later this year) it is a very unique tale and for some may seem far fetched but i can assure you that it all happened, today i realise that i have been given a gift! but at the time it all felt very much like i was cursed.

Infact i have actually been going through a transformation myself, my own Spiritual Journey, from Caterpillar to Butterfly, i can't say exactly where i'am but comparing myself today to who i was 9 years ago, then i would say i have more confidence and determination, more inspiration and more love to share and i am in the best shape of my adult life, thanks to Yoga and a healthier diet, back then i was over weight, unhappy, grumpy and lazy, i would become angry at the slightest thing. I do think this journey is one which will all have to take at sometime and it is a joy to interact with others who are walking the same path (if this is you then i would love to here from you!)

I'am also going through a divorce at this time and it is something that i have really wanted for a very very long time, I cannot believe that i have been married almost 14 years! where did the time go? and how did that happen?

Well i do know that 'Everything Happens For A Reason' and sometimes we have to wait for the right time, all good things come in time!

My attitude is something else which has shifted, i still have a few areas that i need to improve on, but it is all good and will fall perfectly into place in divine right time.

Gratitude and a Positive Attitude do work wonders! try it

Show Your True Colours!

Always speak and act from your Heart, do not just repeat or copy what you have seen or heard, be 100% Genuine for you are not a Parrot! Look inside and become a Beautiful Butterfly, for your true beauty comes from within, leave behind the slow and sluggish Caterpillar and Fly.

Go Your Own Way!

If there is something you have always wanted to do or try then do it! it could be a job, a dream trip, whatever it is do not let others dictate what is best for you! only you truly know what is best for you, in taking care of our needs we are respecting ourselves, our Divinity which each of us possess and it is up to each one of us to fully appreciate and honour the gift of life that we have been given.

As Lao Tzu speaks of in the very first quote (top of page) If we want to see a change in the world first we need to change our Inner World and the way you think and act, only then do we see the changes take shape in the outer world that we experience as our human life.
